I gained a lot and struggled so presently ordering 4 quarts of Chinese mostly veggie based stir fry per week and dividing it into 1 cup portions and freezing it in zip lock bags. I eat it 2x a day with 1/4 C. Steamed white rice. I add in prepared small amount of lean meat, an egg, or seafood because after dividing it into portions there isn’t enough meat left in it. Then for evening just have a serving of meat for about 1,400 calories for the day. So I feel satiated and lost weight. I had… read more

Hi, I'm new to this group. I have severe neuropathy and I believe the Dr. said spondelosis (?), and herniated discs up and down my spine, worst in my neck and low back. All I know is screaming pain, burning, stabbing, etc. I'm in pain management, so I'm given pain killer and muscle relaxer. Since the pain is so unbearable, slot of neuropathy patients are using CBD. Just wondering if anyone has tried it?
Yes - no noticeable arthritis benefit, but watch your blood pressure.
What specific recipes with lots of flavor with spices or whatever to keep eating interesting when trying to eat low carb and low fat for AS and diabetes where you aren’t standing over a stove or doing lots of prep work. I have trouble finding things because even diabetic recipes online have excess carbs in them and all the others are keto with insane amounts of fat and cheese and I don’t eat lots of fat. I can’t have dairy.
Yes I do understand the troubles you have. It can feel very frustrating to eat the same foods. I am hoping I can introduce more foods so I will have more variety too. Wish I had more answers for you.v
If I sit or lay down for too long, my fingers and toes get very cold and soon, I feel like I am freezing to death. When I get up and move around, I feel okay after a little while. But, if I move around a lot, I over heat, and it takes forever to cool off and i feel very weak.
I dress in cotton and layers.
I'm constantly experiencing numbness and tingling in my left arm, hands and feets. It's affecting my hand grip, and my walking.
The Neurosurgeon told me that it was a possibility that the C-2 to T-2 surgery wouldn't Solve the issue of the numbness and tingling.
How do you get relief from the numbness and tingling?

Thanks for sharing your experiences with numbness and tingling. It's very much appreciated.
I’m a chronic dieter with IBS. I can’t take vitamin and mineral pills because it nullifies my thyroid medicine. I’ve tried researching foods high in magnesium and calcium but I can’t find anything high enough. I don’t want to eat a ton of food to get minerals. They say our water here has high mineral content but it is brown so afraid to drink it.
Me too! I’m having to include more dairy but it runs my blood sugar up and gives me seborrhea but it’s better then what the supplements do to me,
Hi Tom,
My neurologist put me on cymbalta for my Ocular neuropathy pain. It really helps me to be able to make it through the day
Is it hereditary, what are the symptoms
I am learning the tiggers for flare ups.
I have had 3 major back surgeries in the past 2 years. I'm just done with surgeries. My Pain management Dr wants me to try the Spinal cord Stimulater. I'm going for a trial run of it next week to see if it works be they implant it. I do have spondylitis, spondylosis, and a few other problems going on with my back to.
I am going to try the stimulator. Waiting for a trial date. Will post my results!
I read that microbes in the gut from imbalance or overgrowth could make inflammation worse and that starving them with low carb or fasting sometimes helps. Anyone else try this?
That is really nice tamcolem. I didn’t get out. I heard noise late last night. Not many people shot off much this year, I think everyone is financially broke!
