HiHas Anyone Tried CBD? I Have Severe Neuropathy And Slot Of Patients Use It.

Hi, I'm new to this group. I have severe neuropathy and I believe the Dr. said spondelosis (?), and herniated discs up and down my spine, worst in my neck and low back. All I know is screaming pain, burning, stabbing, etc. I'm in pain management, so I'm given pain killer and muscle relaxer. Since the pain is so unbearable, slot of neuropathy patients are using CBD. Just wondering if anyone has tried it?

Members shared mixed experiences with CBD for neuropathy and chronic pain, with some finding it helpful for a couple of years before needing stronger alternatives, while many others reported no pain relief at all despite trying various products and dosages. Several members emphasized that gabapentin or Lyrica provided more consistent relief than CBD, with some needing to adjust their doses independently to find what worked, while others noted that CBD with THC seemed more effective than CBD alone, though pain management restrictions prevented many from trying that option. A recurring theme was the importance of researching reputable suppliers, starting with high-quality third-party tested products, and recognizing that pain management is highly individual, with what works wonderfully for one person offering no benefit to another.

It works great for me. Not all CBD oil is equal. Make sure anything you are interested in dies third party lab testing. I use Lazarus Naturals. They have a 60% discount for people on long term disability, people who are veterans and those who are low income. If you don't qualify for the discount, the products are still wonderful and they have sampler packs that you can buy without spending too much in order to try. The other company I like is CBDistillary. These companies are on the up and up.

CBD oil comes in both forms, from hemp which is the free, and from marijuana which has the HTC in it. My pain mgnt dr gives me gabapentin 400mg for my neuropathy which is pretty bad and it works great. I've tried the CBD and no help at all.

Hi JudyAnnClosser,
They did not work for me but do for others. Each one is individual and you have to try things and see if they work for you. Hugs to you and have good days.

I use the CBD oil for my anxiety and tremors when I have a bad day due to my fibromyalgia and anxiety disorder. It helps with my anxiety and tremors but I haven't noticed a difference in my pain.
