Does Anyone Do Any Fasting To Lower Inflammation?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I read that microbes in the gut from imbalance or overgrowth could make inflammation worse and that starving them with low carb or fasting sometimes helps. Anyone else try this?

That is really nice tamcolem. I didn’t get out. I heard noise late last night. Not many people shot off much this year, I think everyone is financially broke!

I am and i’m not. When I do a 2 hour glucose fasting test I fail and would be considered a full blow diabetic. My a1c is 5.6. But I have real high spikes. These spikes seem to aggregate my arthritis if I let them slide and stop managing them which happens time to time cuz I get tired or not ever enjoying things. Hey! you not out celebrating the 4th? I guess your relatives haven’t swamped your house. I’m avoiding the crowds til it’s over. Then I’ll go have my favorite bbq ribs at my favorite place. It’s too hot here and I’m not fighting crowds in a manual wheel chair. I’d rather stare at the pretty sunshine from my 7’ window with my window unit on 68 degrees.😜

I posted it because a whole lot of people with joint issues happen to also have diabetes. It’s wonderful you don’t have that. It may be prevalent in society now but is a terrible disease to deal with. I can’t tell if mine is AS or if my metabolic disease causing my joint destruction. If I could fix it naturally I would. All this is new to me. I had learned to manage my self very well for years and now I’ve hit a wall with my spine. I hope you are having a wonderful holiday. Just wear a big smile and dont worry about toxic tongues. We eventually miss family and friends when they are gone forked tongues or not.

A few dill pickle slices kill salt cravings and help electrolytes.
