A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question đź’

Not sure if that’s the right term but I know people have said they get chest pain but I’ve been getting spasms. It’s similar to a foot cramp but in my chest (no heart problems)
I’m without health insurance at the moment so going to the doc is not an option
Thank You

Has Anyone Had Their Employee Health At Work Request They Schedule A "RTW" Visit, (Return To Work) When Not Sick Or Any Scheduled Absences?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question đź’

Due to my chronic AS my primary doctor wrote a letter 3 months ago emphasizing my need to be able to take my two 15 minute and one 30 minute breaks during my 12 hour shift. 2 hours later, once home, I was called and asked by my director if I'd be open to trying a different position and after training we'd review and see how that is working. Once trained, I was solo and the day we were supposed to meet she did not come to work nor contact me since. The 12 - 13 hour shift is all sedentary and… read more

Anyone Else Have Issues With Dizziness?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have been having a lot of problems with extreme dizziness. It started after an MRI on my head which I had due to daily migraines. I believe that the dizziness stems from my neck issues. I was prescribed meclizine but hasn't made a difference. Any thoughts or suggestions?

What Recipes Do Have That Require Little Effort That Are Still Tasty When Can’t Have Carbs, Must Be Low Fat, No Dairy?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question đź’

What specific recipes with lots of flavor with spices or whatever to keep eating interesting when trying to eat low carb and low fat for AS and diabetes where you aren’t standing over a stove or doing lots of prep work. I have trouble finding things because even diabetic recipes online have excess carbs in them and all the others are keto with insane amounts of fat and cheese and I don’t eat lots of fat. I can’t have dairy.

How Many People Think Their Spondelosisthesis Ia Also Affecting Their Hips.
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have spondelosisthesis a grade 1,the other complication I have is related to my left hip. One consultant went from diagnosing spondelosisthesis to saying I need a new hip, which will make your back worst but I can't treat that? I just knew in my gutt this was incorrect. I had a second opinion, from another consultant. My symptoms are apart from the lower back pain, are that I can hardly walk due to the pain and restriction in my left hip. It feels like I can't stride out on the left side, the… read more

I Cannot Stand On My Feet. How Many Feel So Alone?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question đź’

I cannot stand on my feet an longer than 15-20 minutes before they are absolutely killing me. My diagnosis are AS, Fibromyalgia, sjogrens, Raynauds, and neuropathy. I hear how people describe neuropathy as pins and needles but I don’t have that. I never know how to explain it but my feet just hurt and the longer I’m on them the more swollen and red and hot they become. I have to literally plan each day around my feet, meaning I have to decide what hideous shoes to wear for the day, to making… read more
