Most drs office calls you with results. One thing u started doing is within a day or 2 after having test such as xray, and MRI I go to the hospital (where all my test are done) and I go to medical records and get a copy of the report. I started doing this BC when I had MRI done on lower back in 2017 Dr told me everything was fine. I went got report and found out I have spinal stenosis. So I started getting my stuff from any Dr who done MRI or xray on back or hip area. Its how I found out all my problems. Its sad that these drs didn't tell me these things. And I had to do all my own research to find out about what each conditions info.
