I am a newly diagnosed patient with Spondylosis. My condition is very advanced, considering I'm just 33 years old. I have a plethora of non pain related symptoms all day everyday in Conjunction with my pain and limited mobility. Is this considered an autoimmune disease too?
I know AS is auto-immune as i have had it since I was 20. Spondylosis is not auto-immune.

My doc tried to get me in a drug trial but the mri didn’t show inflammation and hla b27 was negative so I don’t qualify. Now I’m stressed that this info will make him rethink my diagnosis. His diagnosis was based on deteriorating of the si joints caught on an X-ray.
I am negative also. My doc said it doesn’t matter that much. I have AS in my neck and si joints/ lower back. All my blood work was also normal. I was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia and now I was… read more
