I hope this isn't a stupid question. My MRI shows my entire neck has Spondylosis. I'm fixing to undergo my 2nd cervical fusion and it will be a double fusion. Is there a difference in Spondylosis & AK Spondylosis?
Spondylosis and Spondylitis are two different things. Spondylitis is an autoimmune disease affecting the joints. Ankylosing Spondylitis is an autoimmune disease affecting the spine but inflammation can be throughout the body. There is plenty on Google about both.
You know I had a great ra doctor who relocated, he was great, what he explained to me basically I had a very progressive ra disease that's into my spinal region, now I'm in pain in my lower back, my buttock area, down my leg which I know when it hits now, I think they need to monitor in home some of us with the disease and get an understanding how it affects our lives horribly, I hope everyone has a less painful day today, but ? Has anyone else noticed when rains coming in, you hurt like a well you know, when rain starts it eases
Spondylosis is not a disease. It is age related wear and tear of the joints. It is a condition, not a disease.
Where did I call it a disease? Either way, I have it in my neck and back.
Hi Neilt52..
Probably we all hurt like that. I think it as to do with the change in the barometric pressure. Winter hurts too. I finally got rid of Aunty Flow and Uncle Arthur moved in. Ugh!!! Seriously....arthritis hurts in whatever form you have it. Hope you're having a good day and enjoying it to the best of your abilities. God bless..Connie
