Are there specific foods that can trigger more inflammation than others?

I am trying to figure out what foods I eat that make the inflammation worse. I'm sure it can vary person to person due to other health issues, but I'm interested in knowing what foods you think cause more inflammation for you.

Members exchanged insights about which foods trigger their inflammation, with the most commonly reported culprits being dairy products, sugar and sugar substitutes, and tomato-based foods like spaghetti sauce and pizza. Several members living with both psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis shared medication experiences, noting that Skyrizi significantly reduced psoriasis coverage but increased joint pain, while Rinvoq showed promising results for managing RA, spondylitis, and psoriasis together, especially when combined with weight loss efforts. A recurring theme was that food triggers are highly individual, with members emphasizing the importance of personal experimentation and self-awareness to identify which foods cause flares in their own bodies.

It all depends on you and your body.. I can eat certain foods and it doesn’t bother me then certain foods have me in such a flare I can’t move. They are different for everyone but I do know high citrus acid foods will cause a flare in us so be careful with them.. Other than that it’s a try and see.

My dr put me on Rinvoq in March it has changed my world. It covers my RA, spondylitis, and psoriasis. It motivated me to exercise and lose weight which also is helping with the pain. My PCP placed me on Wegovy for weight loss and the pounds are coming off. The rheumatologist said for every pound I lose it feels like 3 lb weight loss on the joints.
