I was recently diagnosed with AS. I had started Celebrex 3 days before meeting my rheumatologist. I have taken prednisone now for about 5 to 6 months. I feel almost normal on it with no major flares. My Dr. has tried me on Humira to replace the prednisone. I took one dose and got Covid, then had a HSV breakout, then a urinary track infection, then viral again. I couldn’t get over being sick for months. Needless to say I stopped taking Humira. I am wondering how many of you are on a biologic?
Does it make you feel pretty normal or does it just help a little bit?
Do you have chronic pain or does it come and go?

Trying to decide if I need to switch biologics or if this is just the way life with AS is?

I am on my second biologic. I have tried Humira and 6 most later my body attacked the meds. I am now on Cosetyx. It's been about 8 weeks and I still feel so fatigued. I was thinking depression and is it still this disease?
