A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else have spinal stenosis and resulting leg numbness/pain/weakness when walking? I’ve had stenosis affecting my walking to some degree since I was 26. I keep hearing I’m “too young,” so I’m just curious if others on here experience it as well.

Why Are The Drugs That Contribute To Inflammation Recommended To Treat It?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

The article mentions that Nsaids, biologics, and other Immunosuppressive medications contribute to gut dysbiosis which in turn contributes to inflammation. Isn't recommending them to patients counter productive to alleviating the inflammation?

A MySpondylitisTeam Member

Yes, you mention many procedures/options my doctors have not even brought up as options. In the last 4 years (maybe) I seem to have gone from 5ft9 inches to 5ft6 inches!! My spine is a mess. I've… read more

Why Can't We Share Our Successes?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I love to hear the successes, even what some people think are too small for anyone to be interested. They are ALL inspirational to me. No one on this and other forums about lifelong suffering has anything easy about their life. Every day is a triumph over death. Why not share more triumph? Venting is good, but probably better and more appropriately done with a paid therapist trained at handling it. Lashing out at strangers for sharing a win over chronic disease perpetuates the misery. I don't… read more
