Members connected over the frustrating reality of living with chronic dizziness and headaches, sharing a wide range of treatments that have brought them relief, including Meclizine for dizziness, preventive medications like Nurtec and Verapamil, and alternative approaches such as chiropractic care and physical therapy. Several members described underlying causes their doctors eventually identified, including herniated cervical discs, stenosis, low blood pressure, sinus issues, and nerve damage, with many emphasizing the importance of thorough testing and finding providers who take these symptoms seriously. A recurring theme was the challenge of managing daily symptoms while navigating medical systems that sometimes dismiss or overlook the connection between these issues and conditions like AS, with members encouraging each other to stay hydrated, move carefully, advocate for themselves, and seek specialists who truly listen.

Albuquerque NM. The will not give you pain meds, they have problems on people who abuse the pain killer's. We suffer with pain you have to go to the ER. We wish we can get help with pain we can't. You all are warrior's we are all warrior's we put up with pain, frustration
depression, silence whe we are asked how you feel we say fine. On the outside we may looked fine but on the inside we are screaming 😱.
I hope someone has time to read our stories they can understand us.
You'll have a great weekend with no pain.
GOD BLESS

If you have stenosis in your neck with bone spurs, it causes pressure on nerves and possibly spinal cord like mine did. That would make you dizzy with the COPD. Some docs don’t link symptoms very well.

Yes due to chronic sinusitis I've had since 1990!! I believe that was the beginning of my Auto-immune disease. I had to take a break from NSAID's because it was affecting my stomach. I don't remember what it feels like NOT be dizzy or have a slight headache. To top that off i'm a stroke survivor hence, pain on the right side of my head scars me to this day. I say Chiropractor would be an option for you.
