Although my mri's have shown early indication (but inconclusive), my blood tests keep coming back without raised inflammation markers so my Gp has refused to refer me to rheumatology. All my symptoms/pain point to axial spondylitis but I'm really confused.
Has anyone else experience this with blood tests for inflammation? Thanks
Get mri done that should rule out everything that's how I was diagnosed mri picked up everything x-rays blood tests missed

Dear Ted and Dr. Tambar,
I hope this message finds you well. I recently came across your post titled "Have You Talked to Your Doctor About What To Expect From Biologics?" on nonradiographic axial spondyloarthritis (nr-axSpA). While the content provides valuable insights into treatment adherence and open communication with healthcare providers, it's worth noting that the post doesn't explicitly address the question it poses.
This omission raises a concern as the post's title suggests a focus on… read more
I have family members that are not Huggers and I just don't get it ! So I get it & here's a big ol hug for "U".🙂
I started having some numbness and tingling in my right shoulder, down the arm and into the hand. This is 2nd time in a week it has happened. I can still move it, still feel like normal, no pain, no other symptoms (other than panic/anxiety thinking it might be a stroke) I mentioned it to my rheumatologist when i saw her last week and she said its probably a nerve as the other time happened when i was driving for a couple of hours..
Has something like this happened to anyone else?
