It could be about the disease, memoir, movement, diets, holistic health, literally anything, I am learning that I need to consume knowledge to find acceptance.
I just pumped into keystone approach. It explains diet to help people with AS. I am still learning about the diet.
I highly recommend "Ankylosing Spondylitis and Axial Spondyloarthritis" by Dr. Muhammad Asim Khan, 2nd Edition published by Oxford University Press, 2023 as parts if its The Facts series. Not only is Dr. Khan a world-reknowned rheumatologist and expert in axSpA, but he also has the disease himself. This book is written specifically for patients. If you want more clinical information, his book of the same title, published by Professional Communications Inc. in 2016 is good. Finally, if you wish to have a detailed review of all aspects of axSpA, see the book "Axial Spondyloarthritis" edited by Philip Mease and Muhammad Asim Khan, published by Elsevier, Inc. in 2020. This book too is written for clinicians. If you are interested in a novel featuring someone with axSpA, look up "It Happens All The Time" by Vijaya Dutt.
