Where my thoracic and lumbar meet, I get a burning sensation by my spine for approximately 6 inches down.
Does anyone else have this happen?
I also have knots that are very painful on the bottom of my feet. Anyone else?
Thank you Bonnie. Same to you. We treasure those times of relief don't we?
I'm so sorry about your pain.
Like you said, it doesn't stay long however when it starts for me, it feels like someone took a hot knife and drags it down the left spine side about 4 or 5 inches.
I talked to my Dr about it and she was overwhelmed with my other complaints.
On the plus side...I get to see a podiatrist, one thing at a time I reckon.
Praying that we all get at least a small bit of relief a day π
I get torso cramps from the as and/or fibro. I take a muscle relaxer at night before bed, well 2. If I don't take them that's when the cramps begin.
My primary is sending me to a podiatrist. I actually ask Google to see if AS could cause my feet issues. The first thing I read was YES. SMH ππ
Get some good sleep my friend
I get spasms in my torso also. My feet burn and sometimes out of nowhere I'll get a warm feeling in the middle of my back, like someone put a heating pad on my back, that lasts a few seconds then it's gone. I also get cramping in my feet. Lots of foot issues.
Bless you Brian,
Thank you for replying. It seems as though we shouldn't be resting because it makes our conditions hurt worse.
Have you seen a rheumatologist? Those cramps are awful!
When I rest, my feet hurt with those knots but when I stand on them and wear thick socks with my soft shoes (crocs) they are fine. Do you have knots in your arch on the tendons too?
I will see my primary tomorrow and hopefully to see what she suggests.
At the Drs office they say no more than 20 mins standing or 20 mins sitting.
AS is so cruel to people, I just pray through it.
