Yes. I think it is due to inflammation of your scalp tissues.. i feel it the same way. The burning feet I have also, but it's hard to understand because I don't believe it's neuropathy related. I have found the best way to find out what exactly causes these symptoms or if it related to AS is to google anklosing spondylitis and burning feet. Having had the same symptoms as you, I think it is pretty safe to assume that it is AS related. You want to be cautious not to blame every symptom on AS because some symptoms could be a sign of a serious condition that should not be shrugged off. Linda

I have this issue in my rib cage, front through back on my right side. It doesn’t respond to corticosteroid shots. Glad to know I am not alone. Many tests have been done. I was even treated with acyclovir, though I had no herpetic symptoms (lesions) and never had chicken pox. Nothing helps.
