@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Sounds like sciatica or another pinched nerve. Have you tried chiropractic adjustments or physical therapy to train the muscles off the nerve? If you haven't gotten one, you might need an MRI to check for bulging disc pinching the nerve. PT can help that too if you're committed to it. Yours in better health P ππ

I have a sharp burning pain in my left hip joint if I sit straight in a chair or try to bend and push into a car. No tearing, but the burning pain and weakness is new after 15 years.
But if the joints or hips are weak it can tear too.anything possible with an auto immune disease that screws ur joints hips etc it can easily tear just fall the wrong way π’ & it could possibly tear hopefully not all depends how the disease has progressed so don't move too fast & don't fall down at all.
