I have fusion in 3 discs in.my cervical vertebra with cracks. I also have fusion in my ileosacral region. Is this normal for spondyloarthritis at 62 years old?
The article mentions that one of the symptoms is sometimes psoriasis, in addition to other common psoriatic arthritis symptoms such as heel pain and IBD etc. Wouldn't the correct diagnosis then be Psoriatic Spondylitis? Whats the difference when there is no evident fusion? Do treatments between the two differ?

I would suspect that after reading the article, Tuberous Spondylitis causes symptom causes spondylitis in the spine. Spondyl means spine. Itis refers to inflammation. The disease causes inflammation… read more

I take Rinvoq and so far have had good luck at least on the Psoriasis side. I'm unfortunately beginning to accept there just isn't a help for the pain.
