Does anyone else have AS with multiple Fibrolipomas growing on lumbar, hips and recently shoulder and entire rib cage? This is will be my 4th surgery in a year and half and not one doctor, specialist or surgeon can explain why. AS is bad enough worsening with every passing year but having this too, is a very slow painful death.
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. It might be worth consulting a functional medicine practitioner to determine at the very least your CAUSES of AS. Treating those might also treat that annoying benign cyst issue. I use a novel product called ESS60 that's worth your reading about. I'll attach a link. I managed to shrink my many breast cysts as well as a sizable nerve sheath tumor since taking 5-8ml of this product daily. It spared me from a risky surgery in my cauda equina nerve roots. Now we just monitor everything via MRI yearly. At the same time I started taking it, about 6 months ago or so, I also started sitting in front of, within inches from for deeper penetration of the light wavelengths, a red/near infrared light panel so it's possible that is what helped my cysts shrink. But mine are not the same type as yours. Worth checking out though. A possible cause might be caffeine? I know that causes breast cysts, but not sure about others. On the bright side, at least they're rarely cancerous. Read the interesting science on the ESS60. It's pricey, but worth a try if you can budget it. Yours in better health P π π

That sounds absolutely exhausting β physically, emotionally, and mentally. Facing a 4th surgery in 18 months while managing worsening AS, and still not having answers, is an incredibly heavy burden to carry. That frustration is completely valid.
