I have been using strictly olive oil for all my recipes for as long as I can remember, at least 30 to 40 years. Maybe it helps, maybe I would have a far more dire disease load had I not been using it. But at my worst, when I could barely move and the pain was severely disabling, I don't know, like I said maybe it would have been even worse than the level of pain that sent me to the ER and not even morphine helped. Science says it's better for you than butter. Comparatively, I'm in pretty good shape for someone with a chronic health condition. At the very least, it has not adversely affected me to my knowledge and the difference in the meals I cook, even baking, is zero difference for taste and texture. Can't hurt, especially if you choose a high quality product, but dont expect to be doing a extreme sport or triathlon just because you added olive oil to your diet. Yours in better health P ๐ ๐
