I used humira. My body built up a tolerance to it where it no longer worked. I am now on simponi monthly injection. Have been on this for a little over a year. I was diagnosed with AS about 5 years ago. I've tried 4 or 5 meds for it. They all worked great until I built up a tolerance to them and then they no longer gave relief for the pain. That is to be expected though.
Thankyou so much. All your info is very important.
Chinese hamster ovary DNA cannot possibly be a good thing for us. Research how your Biologics are manufactured, a hint, CHOs are defined in the European Medicines Agency if you cant find that info at National Institute of Health. I did cosentyx too, no help, worsening conditions. GUT MAPPING TEST will tell you what's actually wrong and how to fix it. Gastrointerologists probably dont even know about this test believe it or not and probably won't order it, Rheumatologists too. I have had and currently have all those "Specialists". They did not order my deeper level more revealing of disease causes tests. But they're all impressed by them, my results from non medicated treatments, and supportive of my now med and procedure free tactics. I still see them so they can monitor the results and get more on board with real healing instead of misguided insurance industry driven standard of (non)care protocols that are obviously failing too many patients. Time, years, education, can all go in the wrong direction, even in "modern" cultures of a new millennium. If you're not feeling better after months to years to decades of failure to help methods, it's time to chart a new path. Reach out for more details anytime, or just register for the free medical webinars I so frequently post notice of and listen to one while you're laid up feeling miserable from failed "modern" medicine. There actually IS a way to heal your body permanently, you just need the right guidance. Happy Holidays and may yhe new year bring you all new and improved health. ππππ
Was on it for a few yrs. Believe i too came immune to it. I take a cosentyx shot 1 every 4 weeks. Been on that for probably 4 to 5 yrs. And honestly my rheumatologist was going to up it. But decided after a new MRI. We would leave it the same. I dont know if its working with me or against me with so many other health problems.
I took it for 2 years exactly... Rough on my body as a whole... can't say it did good or bad for the AS, but I committed to taking it for 2 years and I did... trust your gut and I hope it helps you π.
