I've had trigger finger for years, but this has now spread from just my ring fingers (both hands) to fore and middle fingers (both hands). I had steroid injections on Friday to try and reduce this, which normally works. However, waking this morning three of my four fingers are still locking. Does anyone have any advice on how to reduce the symptoms?
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Well.... realizing it sounds much more horrifying than it is, i have Carpal Tunnel, Dupuytren's Contracture, and trigger finger in both hands. I haven't tried injections yet. Let me know if it kicks in please. Steroid injections, and tablets, anywhere typically take about 4 days to kick in. I rub a strong topical relief cream into my hands then put lightweight compression Copper Fit gloves on, even in hot FL summers. These gloves are like a second skin with or without fingertips, and have a gripping material on the under side to help with opening and closing things.
