I Was Wondering If Many People Here Have Fibromyalgia And AS I Was Diagnosed With Both Back In 2010 But Was Never Informed Of The AS I

I also have DDS,a couple back surgeries, was diagnosed with RA which I don't know about since I found out that I was diagnosed with AS...I have a "cage" between L4-L5 and I was informed that I have bone growth over it now and I was also told I need to have another back surgery...there are times when the Fibro and the AS both kick in that I have a really hard time with the pain...I have used Prednisone at 60mg per day, methotrexate only 16 mg a week, opioids, which I just quit again 40 mgs a day… read more

Yeah I have tried the injections also...I have tried so many things that until I see it on here I just forget about it...I have had the injections and spinal blockers but I was given those because of my lower back pain...is there anything different for AS...I am saying AS because that's what they diagnosed me with from the ESR,CRP, and X-rays of my lower back and the fact that everytime I have tried to go back to the chiropractor with the Drs tens units and the waves they give a person before they try to put the back in place along with the heating pads and weights they can make my legs the same length but can't get my SI joint to be straight for more than a couple steps and then I am down and out for a period of up to 3/4 of a year... are these the same treatments you are talking about or is there another thing that they do with the lidocaine? Please keep giving me ideas for possible treatment and I want to say Thank you for answering because I really appreciate your help...

I didn't see that you had tried Lidocaine, (now OTC.) It has been so very helpful for me, especially on difficult days.
