It like trigger finger. And I'm dropping things all the time. My hands just give loose. Yet I have good 💪 in my grip.
I’m having the same issues now too. I drop stuff all the time, fingers lock up a lot, and I can’t grip smaller objects. I’m still going through the process and scans waiting for more answers. Just know, your not alone, and we will get through this!
My "locking up" on my right hand is in the middle finger, in the middle joint. It does it especially when I am gripping something like my coffee cup. I have to use a stainless-steel cup with a big narrow handle, which I place my whole hand into. When I set my cup down. that joint "locks-up" and it is extremely painful to release it. On the left hand the same thing happens with the middle finger, only with the distal joint, which also is painful. And, on my index finger, the metacarpal joint is affected. It locks up constantly, but it is not painful to release. It almost feels like the joint is popping in and out of place, but no pain. The metacarpals on both hands, have been swollen for years! May God Bless All of Us and guide Us to the answers we need to hear. I am very thankful to finally be involved with a community that understands what we are going through!🥰😌
Good to know I'm not alone.
Thank you for your help ❤ It is truly frustrating. I have had 4 carpal tunnel surgeries a trigger thumb through the years. This seems to be different. Yet very annoying along with it all🥴
Try to get an EMG ordered by doctors if you haven't. They first blamed my symptom of this to radiculopthy. Now we know I have carpal tunnel, ulnar neuropathy and a few more. I'm so sorry your going through this. It's more frustrating than people realize.
