Biofeedback is when you use your mind to control the pain. Pain is in your head. If you can control that you can control the pain.

My husband has arthritis in both his hands, broken them fighting when he was younger and stupid. He really suffers with them especially in the cold weather, he often cracks his knuckles and says that it eases the pain off for a while. I can't stand the noise it makes and have to go into the other room while he does it, makes me cringe.
