I have had Fibromyalgia since 1990. have never had a migraine but do have sensitive skin. I'm diabetic and to just touch my skin for shots is a chore!! Every day I ache and some days are worse than others. Stress and weather change and also over tired don't help at all!!! With arthritis of the neck and spine is another handicap that makes life miserable. We all do the best we can and hope for better days.

They diagnos by how many trigger points they touch that you respond too. Most are down your spine and across the hips. can cause fatigue pain and burning and complete disibility in some.
There are meds now that help to control the nerve pain associated with this such as gabapetin.

Sadly, I think pain in women goes untreated too often.

Hello! Yes I have been diagnosed with Fibromyagia for over 10 years now but am convinced that I have had symptoms of it since my early 20's. I agree with what everyone is telling you about symptoms, I have experience with them all. Except my doctors have not attempted any biologics with me yet. I think they consider my mental state before Fibro status. Hopefully they will be more open to all options since psychotropics have not been helpful as of late.

My husband has Fibromyalgia, ulcerative colitis as well as Diabetes, HB, High Cholesterol and back issues.
He’s a lot like Judy but doesn’t seem to have the sensitive skin as bad as Judy.
No one else in his family has Fibromyalgia that we know of and he doesn’t get migraines.
He does spend a lot of time in bed! Our day together usually doesn’t start till 2pm or after.
I have a friend that I used to bead with that has a lot of problems with the skin sensitivity!!
He was on Remicade Infusions for a few years then switched to Humira shots at home every 2 weeks..
He has good times and bad.
Like all of us.
