I do know you can get extendable shoes horns so you can use it to slip on shoes while standing. Although that doesn't help with tying and buckling. My daughter often ties my shoes. I was thinking… read more

Does anyone else have spinal stenosis and resulting leg numbness/pain/weakness when walking? I’ve had stenosis affecting my walking to some degree since I was 26. I keep hearing I’m “too young,” so I’m just curious if others on here experience it as well.

Spinal stenosis is a pain. Pun intended. It's a different type of pain especially when it takes your legs out suddenly. It lingers around. I find a tumeric and collagen smoothie helps take the edge… read more

I used to not mind walking a lot but I hate all those crunches, leg raises etc. At therapy I don’t mind it. But hard to keep doing them at home. Can’t do the gym because I always catch staph there. Even if I sanitize the equipment the weight plates are slimed with germs. Even the pool causes me infections. I can go out in public and touch public restroom and never pick up anything. But gyms seem to be bad for MRSA etc. I wish I had a power cage rack with pully weights but they are thousands of… read more
