You’re welcome. Gives you some things to ask doc about. Wouldn’t want sickness or harm to come to you.
I was diagnosed with 'non radiographic' AS (although it's questionable about the NR b/c my doctor saw inflammation on the MRI, brought it to the attention of the radiologist who then agreed) and started with taking Piroxicam at night. Initially and for the first time in my life I woke up in the morning without pain. I then was prescribed Cimzea (the medication for NR AS). I was wondering the same. My pain level is increasing Could it be the meds? I have been taking Gabapentin for 2+ years. Hmmm
Your Dr. is correct about the 3 months. I did not have any side effects when I was on this medication. My body eventually built up a tolerance and I had to be switched to another medication.
After started Cimzia, I got Covid 7 days later . It felt like my body had no fight in me, to fight the virus. My fear is that I'll get every cold/sickness that comes around. This is my second dose of Cimzia after switching from Enbrel. Enbrel burned but not like Cimzia. It hurts so bad. I let it warm up for about an hour and nurse (aka my mom who is BSN)administrators injection slowly. It still burns and stings for 15 min after injection. Is this normal?
