A little bit of background
I live in the UK and am blessed to have the NHS. The problem is that it is struggling and the area I live in has particularly bad waiting times (shortages of beds, doctors, nurses etc)

Hello everyone! I need some advice. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and have a really hard time with anti-inflammatory meds. All of the nsaids that my Drs have given me to this point and the otc ones I've tried on my own have really done a nasty number on my stomach. I have been diagnosed with Spondylothisis in 2006. During my research, I've noticed there is several types of Spondylitis. How many different types of Spondylitis is there?
I was only diagnosed about a year and a half ago. My doctor wanted me to try Prednisone for 2 weeks tapering me off it in those two weeks to confirm I have AS. I gained 30 pounds in just two short weeks and now am really struggling to get it off. It has also made my body ache more since I am carrying the extra weight. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do? Thank you for the help!
