I hope it works for you, sadly if they work, it's only short term and it costs an arm and a leg. I had enbril, great for a year, then gave me psoriatic arthritis/psoriasis for life. Taltz took my deep breathing away for months on my 1st injection. And Cocentyx didn't do anything and just over a year the hair on my legs, back, pits, chest was missing. So in 5-6 years of biological, steroid injections, nerve burns and methotrexate, plaquinil (sp) and sulfasalazine, I wish I hadn't or done any of them. The harm was not worth the effort. Acceptance, diet, exercise, cutting out bad relationships and faith are far more beneficial. This site is a blessing for those of us struggling with AS and looking for answers. Most people on here are a wealth of information that a lot of rheumatologists won't inform you about. Don't buy into the rotating medication rat wheel, if you knew how most of these meds were manufactured, your hair would turn colors. With that said "some" people find relief, but it's not permanent, it's expensive and sometimes side effects suck. I personally felt, I was the pharmaceutical test subject for a new medicine that hadn't gone through enough clinical trials before hitting the shelf. Always ask questions, and again listen to the many on this site...it is a wealth of lived information. Good luck on your journey.

Ditto, more or less, to Rob.

Look for the CAUSES of your disease and address those. That will work far better, longer, and likely no side affects. All meds, including Biologics, are just bandaids on a gaping artery wound. They will not cure you, will eventually have side affects worse than the disease, including vital organ damage, and rarely work for very long, if at all, because they only address symptoms instead of disease cause. It's like giving a tissue to someone with a raging sinus infection.

Check the treatments tab on my wall for safer alternatives to your pain. There are a couple dozen there. Yours in better health P πŸ˜ŒπŸ™
