I had the hips steroid injections and a nerve burn, both were useless.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Attached is a photo of the one i have, the one for $47.49 in the photo. No doctor necessary unless you just dont want to try anything without talking to a dr first. I bought mine at CVS drugstore and they do have RNs for consultation in store or online easily accessible for no or minimal charge.

This unit has two small pads that i place on each side of my spine, or muscle or joint if using elsewhere on my body. It has five different signal settings and five different strengths of the signal. It feels like a focused mini massage, and does a great job of blocking pain signals to the site. The only drawback for me is that the pads are wire attached to the control module. (IcyHot makes a button battery device without wires.) It's not an issue when seated or lying down, but can be when mobile unless i have a pocket to put it in. I'm glad you made me think of it, i think i'll go get mine now. 😏

There are many ways you can address pain without medications, surgeries or other invasive procedures. Afterall, all of those create added stress that leads to more inflammation and pain, the exact opposite of what we need. That's why this is such a difficult condition, other than none of it getting to the root cause of the inflammation to begin with, something conventional medicine just does not address. If you want to know more about getting to the root cause of your pain, please feel free to reach out anytime. That is my focus and i post methods to do that along with resources frequently. Always here for you Tawanna, yours in better health P πŸ™

Yes, when i looked into it for my neck, i was told tgat if it is successful, on a erage it only ladts 6 months. Then when i researched it further and learned about the risks i decided 6 months of maybe telief wasnt worth the risk. I decided no invasive procedures like that or more unless to save life or basic bodily functions.

Have you tried a tens? At home i use an Omron unit. On the go i use an Icy Hot one. I need to turn it back on kind of frequently because they auto off. However, theyre fairly affective qith bringing the pain down about 4 levels. πŸ˜ŒπŸ™
