When I'm in a lot of pain my joints (elbows, fingers, ankles, toes, neck, etc.) Pop all the time. Im just stretching or walking and they'll pop. Even the top of my foot that I didnt know was possible to even pop will pop with a simple stretch of the calves.

Joint popping and cracking can be common with spondylitis due to inflammation and stiffness in the joints. When experiencing increased pain, these sounds may become more noticeable during movement and stretching activities.

The best approach to manage joint stiffness and associated symptoms is through guided movement and appropriate exercise. However, it's important to be gentle with your body and not push too hard when experiencing pain. If joint popping is accompanied by significant pain or limiting your daily activities, consider working with a physical therapist. They can create a tailored exercise program that takes into account your specific joint issues and help determine which movements are safe and beneficial for your condition.

Remember to start any new exercises slowly and listen to your body - if an activity causes increased pain during the movement, ease back or stop and consult with your healthcare provider.

It's when they stop popping and clicking that the "real pain" begins. No popping and cracking, no relief. 😣
