Good morning Pitac! I like the idea of the wrap. My feet are the same, I am just conscious of how much walking I can do. Still get random "shoots" but pain not constant if I "obey" the signals. ;)
Thank you Pitac! Since I have the HBL gene, I guess mine was just dormant until the vaccine ;/
My mom has been doing Tai Chi for her neuropathic autoimmune arthritis, CIDP, for 40 years and it has kept her moving and out of the OR. She just turned 83 and is still going strong, no biologics or other hard meds. I keep trying to get on a regular regimen of it but have yet to fit it in with the other dozen +/- therapies that i do! βΊοΈ It's a full time job to manage this mess. The absolute worst thing we can do is nothing at all and sit around more than an hour at a time. Tai Chi is fantastic for mind and body strength, balance etc. ππ
@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Hey Lisa, I told my Rheumi when she suggested letting me go due to going homeopathic that i still needed her to manage my case for the proper imaging because she knows what to look for to assess my progress with or without meds. I pointed out that she can use my success or lack thereof for purposes to make recommendations to other patients. So she agreed to see me once a year for imaging. π How are your feet feeling? I get a lot of benefit rolling mine back and forth over a pilates bar for 5-10 minutes then doing foot pt like toe curls and lifts, calf raises, foot raises, and ankle rotations. Ive been having sharp back of heel pain waking me up lately so last night i slept with a firm ankle wrap that covers foot with toes open. No pain woke me. πππ»
Good morning Pitac! Thank you for your knowledge share! It sure would be nice if the vaccine companies (i.e. Phizer, Moderna) could pay for our medical bills or even prescriptions. :) I'm going to tell my rheumatologist that I'm not going back on any biologics. I hope she doesn't "fire" me. ;)
