@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Yes, I have the PainScale app. I'm on and follow 25+ pain management support groups, websites and apps. With all of my diagnosies I don't fall into just one exclusive pain group like a majority of us here. One of the reasons I like uspainfoundation.org is the have daily, weekly and monthly Zoom support group meetings that anyone can participate in. They have monthly meetings featuring different speakers and resources I find very informative. And yes this and more is all free to use.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. You might also like the PainScale app. PainScale.com. Very useful for tracking and also has many articles for all types of pain. It helped me track what triggers as well as what helps alleviate my pain, very handy body map, place to track activities and foods as well as environmental and stress triggers. Can even link to drs offices and fitbit if you want. Best of all, its free. 🤑🫡

What resources have you found most helpful for managing spondylitis?

While it's great to be proactive about finding resources, it's important to be cautious about what you read online. Focus on finding reliable, medically-verified information, especially when researching treatments or management strategies.

The Spondylitis Association of America offers excellent resources including exercise videos, educational materials about treatments, and information about managing symptoms. They provide specific guidance on stretching, aerobic exercise, strengthening, and balance techniques designed for people with spondylitis. Some helpful tools include smartphone apps specifically designed for people with spondylitis, like MySpA, which can help track symptoms and provide exercise guidance. Additionally, many hospitals and medical practices offer extended resources beyond appointments, such as health education classes and patient liaisons who can help navigate your care journey.
