Stay off of ALL meds. I have taken MANY different things for my pain and, have since 2012 stopped everything but blood pressure meds. I have indulged in so much research on medication and have found that "no matter what the drug is,,,it causes some other type of reaction (physical or mental). I only take tylenol with 12 hr arthritis meds (together) when the pain is unbearable. But if you have read my profile,,,,,,you know I have been dealing with pain for 40 yrs. I have learned that pain is "just a part of life" ! To me my normal every day pain level is about a 5 or 6. To someone who has not dealt with pain as long as I have,,,,that same level to them would probably be 10 or higher.

That was the first one, but I ended up in the hospital for 8 days, then took 3 strong antibiotics for two months and then had to go in for 5 more days to have surgery.

I also tore my calf muscle before all of that started.

Is your rheumy ok with you re-starting it? Did you have any other terrible infections while on it during the year you were on it or was this the first one?
