Doctors giving conflicting info and one GI extreme to the next constant pain and energy are getting rough into week 3 like this. Trying to stay strong. Thanks for any support or tips!

Fasting helps me the most. Kills harmful gut bugs and yeast deader than a hammer. I starve em out.

I have. I cannot take NSAIDS because they cause bleeding ulcers and a swollen throat. Energy is super low. Going to Float Spas helped me with the opportunity to have 1 hour of ZERO joint pain. The Magnesium in epsome salt is incredible for relieving inflammation. Expensive, though.

I truly hope you feel better.

I had to stop NSAIDs altogether due to severe gastritis. I took them almost daily for 20 years, the really strong ones like diclofenac. Meloxicam, all of them. My stomach stayed in a constant state of gastritis for the last 5 years until I couldn’t stand it. Now Prednisone does the same but I’ve learned to take PPIs twice a day while I’m on it instead of one. Also I don’t take them every day. I have gotten thrush from my mouth to my esophagus from these meds and I’m done with NSAIDs. Not to mention I’m 64 and my dad had 3 heart attacks. Check the black box warnings even on Advil. I’ll stick with SI injections and opiates. These work most of the time to keep life manageable.

@A MySpondylitisTeam Member. Thanks for that! I can’t do ginger etc either. I’m gonna get me some shrooms. How much do you eat/take? Does it help arthritis flares in spine?

Thank you for sharing! We did test for some of that since I’m not in Humira anymore and week 4 of off it. If there’s anything I can do to help I’d love any advice! My cdiff was negative. So that’s good I’m hoping. I’ll ask more about h pylori
