Has Anyone Used Turmeric For Inflammation? If So, What Results Did Ypu.get?
Thank you everyone for taking the time to share your experiences! God bless you all!
Hi Donna
Yes I have taken Turmeric powder in capsule form. I was hoping to replace the naproxen with it but it didn’t work as well after a month. I also got some reflux which was most unpleasant as Turmeric hasn’t got the nicest of taste. Having said that I was taking calcium at the time for bone health. I am told calcium can give a bit of acid reflux as well so it could have been the combination.
All the best
Laurence
I have used Turmeric for several years to help with arthritis pain. I believe it has helped and I have avoided getting a prescription too, which is important to me. I still have to use other types of treatments along with it to address Osteoarthritis in main problem areas; like arthritis gloves for my hands, Injections in my kneecaps, and wrap/brace for my ankles. But I am glad that it takes the edge off and makes life manageable, unlike life before I started taking it.
I’ve been taking tumeric for about a year and I didn’t think it was doing anything until I stopped taking it for a few days. I also take Celebrex twice a day. I just use the DoctorSafe brand for tumeric on Amazon and make sure to take it with food or it hurts my stomach. I hope this is helpful!
Turmeric raises my blood pressure, so I can't use it, I wish I could. It seems a lot of people use it. Best wishes to you all. 😉
