thank you for your answer im going to back off of epidural at this time He has just given me predisone for 10 DAYS
I have a neurosurgeon but because of my age 70 and I am over weight he rather not do surgery

I have and they helped for a bit but then they stopped. I ended up having a spinal fusion and now get facet blocks.

Yes several worked really well at first! The last time seem to be more painful afterwards.

I’ve had really good response to facet joint injections, they are a steroid, a pain reliever and freezing all in one and can last for anywhere from 2 to 6 months of pain free. It’s not as invasive and does not require anaesthetic. They are done under X-ray by a radiologist.
