Members shared their experiences with memory loss and brain fog in relation to spondylosis and chronic conditions, with many attributing these symptoms to a combination of factors including medications like Lyrica and Neurontin, chronic inflammation affecting oxygen flow, and natural aging. Several members found relief and cognitive support through staying mentally engaged with creative projects like art and drawing, which helped maintain focus and distract from both memory issues and pain. A recurring theme was the frustration of managing these cognitive symptoms while balancing necessary medications, with members offering each other understanding and normalizing the experience of forgetfulness as a shared struggle within the community.

Oh, I hope it doesn't come to blood transfusions. So, I will be careful with whatever I do. But thank you for your response.

I was reading about chronic conditions, specifically; chronic inflammation and I learned that, because the body's constant response to the chronic conditions causes the immune system to burn out, one can experience "brain fog" as the result of a lack of fresh oxygen in the blood. In severe instances some have benefitted from blood transfusions.
