yes i can answer your question and yes it does. my ribs make a bird cage around my heart and lungs. my ribs fused on there own around age 18. It felt like a horse kicked me in my chest. I did not no what was going on until years later A doc. told me my ribs had fused and that the bottom ribs over lapped the upper and they tried to fix it but could not but i did and i hit the floor when they went back were they were suppose to be. your heart and other organs are effected.soft tissue. My spine is fuse from l1 to l8 rendering me paralyzed. My left leg hip was out of place and formed another joint so now i am double Jointed in that hip. My left leg is twisted to the left and my knee cap is dislocated Permanently. I have gout in my ankles. I also suffer from kidney stones that have to be remove frequently. I have to be careful with my back cause the fused area can be brittle. All that i have said has happened since high school. I have never had surgery for any of this. hope this helps
