Members shared mixed experiences with TENS devices for pain management, with some finding temporary relief while using the device but noting that pain returns immediately after stopping, similar to heating pads. Several members described trying TENS units with varying success, including one who couldn't use it due to a pacemaker and another who found that an internal stimulator helped with stabbing nerve pain and preserved their ability to walk, though it came with infection risks possibly related to biologics. A recurring theme was that while TENS units provide momentary comfort for many people and are worth trying, they rarely offer lasting pain relief on their own, leading members to combine them with other approaches like heating pads, CBD, and LDN for nerve pain.

I’ve used a tens unit before and just like the heating pad.... it feels good while using it but once I stop the pain is right back.😢
