Mitral valve prolapse is often a part of the CONFLICTS between fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. We, are not medical dr's to be able to give medical advice but all and any medications should be discussed with your current doctor. I know with the fda, and the feds the rules are tightened up with perscription pain pills, but I do hope you can find some relief if it means perhaps getting some lidocaine ointment which helps a great deal for the areas where you are affected. Good luck and welcome to the group

Hi. I was having the same pain in my chest. Had blood work, heart ultra sound, x-rays heart was fine. Finally diagnosis with Costochondritis. Symptons mimic a heart attack. If you have RA or AS your at risk of having Costochondritis. Hope this helps a little. Feel better🤗
