We buy our 10 year old Jack Russell turmeric sausages from www.goldenpastecompany.co.uk . She had begun to show signs of arthritis, and after much research, we found these. Since then (2 years ago) she has found a new lease of life. We bought CBD oil from the USA for her sister when she was diagnosed with mammary cancer a year ago, but she had died before it came and we decided to give Poppy some, just to keep her ticking over as it were. The stuff you can buy in pet shops isn't as potent as the stuff you can get online.
my dad had a dog that had hit old age and he could barely walk. the vet said to give him once a day a coated aspirin as it takes down the inflammation in spine and joints so they can move with less pain. I hope this helps some
@ craigHill they also have pet meds that contain conjointen and glucosamine both used together help all dogs with joint pain. If you start using it give it up to 30 to 45 days to see results.
I had an old cat that we used to give cod liver oil to from the pet shop, it was for dogs but helped my cats arthritis and kept his joints supple. We do some rescue work and had a very old blind cat that the vet said was ancient not just old, we often had to wash his back end and noticed that he loved the feeling of the warm water on his legs, must have been really soothing for him as he had bad arthritis in his back legs, also noticed how the other cats would lay up against his legs warming them, they seem to know exactly where it hurts whether it's a person or another animal.
