I have been told I do not have Celiac Disease but intolerance to gluten. So I have removed all the gluten from my diet. I was, two weeks ago, diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis and this past Thursday started my Cimzia shots. I will keep you informed how it goes
I did gluten free for about a month and had significantly less pain. Even the American arthritis association recognizes carb and gluten laden food as inflammatory. I think the key is eat a lot of lean meats and veggies and some fruit. It’s hard to stick to with an American diet.
