Just wondering since @Dilaudid is an opioid if this is for long or short term use ?
I too will never play nice with any doctor who treats me like everything is all in my head. Its stupid. You get it confirmed that yes you have the disease yet they still treat you like your nuts in the head. I have no time or day for any doctor who thinks they can play like that with me. I will put them in their place in a very fast way. They don't like it but my feels are don't treat me as if its all in my head and I won't put you in your place. 😁
I have used that pain med since 2004 she my doc was giving me 4mgs once a day but she decided because of all the overdose scrap going on she would cut me off. I have completely got myself now off the pain meds and relaxers and will no longer be able to get anymore pain meds. The dilaudid really helped me at night so I could sleep and be able to move the next morning but even though I signed a contract with her and only took them once a day I no longer can get them. So my pain levels have now gone back up from a 3 to a 7. I have no choice but to deal with the pain now. No more pain meds thanks to people doing stupid with them.
Usually short term for minor injuries. Long term for chronic or cancer pain.

I went to an Endocrinologist who got mad when I told him my Hashimotos Thyroiditis caused all kinds of symptoms...He wrote a nasty progress note about me having horrible fatigue and fibromyalgia...Like it was all in my head...He is the only thyroid guy in town...but he is not making any money off of me. I don't play with idiots
I have been to a couple of pain management clinics they wouldn't listen and would put me on meds that I already had been on that did nothing for me. I am one who don't play with doctors who don't listen.
