Medication That Manage Pain When Changing Meds

My physician is changing my medication from Voltaren to Celebrex because it was not working. What do you take or have taken to control the pain while you change medication therapies we’re doing this for the insurance company to say we have tried two prescription NSAIDs before I start a biologic.

For a while I thought I found good pain relief with Lidocaine patches on my bacck or spine. It worked great. Problem is I thought I was getting spikes of mood changes, but turns out it was the Lidocaine patches and I had to detox from them. Its saddening, because I thought I finally found pain relief. Anyone else have the same issue? Any other effective OTC pain relief methods asides from cold and heat or prescriptions?

Erosion Of Pubis Symphasis Joint?

In 2005 I had to have surgery to put a titanium plate over my Pubis Symphasis joint. The Dr. Said it eroded due to the AS. Has any one else experienced this? The surgery was extremely rough, and I now have severe pain in my lumbar region and hips because my pelvis is plated in the front. It makes it so that when I walk my hips are uneven and it puts horrible pressure on my lower back and hips.
