What works better and faster; the gel or pull form?

I have Psoratic Arthritis and post herpetic neuralgia in my right leg from a bad case of Shingles. The itching feeling is strong enough to keep me awake at night. Any ideas on getting this to subside? Thanks, Becky

Lidocaine Patches And Psychosis
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

For a while I thought I found good pain relief with Lidocaine patches on my bacck or spine. It worked great. Problem is I thought I was getting spikes of mood changes, but turns out it was the Lidocaine patches and I had to detox from them. Its saddening, because I thought I finally found pain relief. Anyone else have the same issue? Any other effective OTC pain relief methods asides from cold and heat or prescriptions?
