A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

All of the nsaids that my Drs have given me to this point and the otc ones I've tried on my own have really done a nasty number on my stomach. So, today my new rheumatologist prescribed Celebrex for me saying that he has had some really good luck with it being better tolerated by patients with stomach issues like myself. Has Anyone Had Trouble Losing Weight After Being Put On Prednisone?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was only diagnosed about a year and a half ago. My doctor wanted me to try Prednisone for 2 weeks tapering me off it in those two weeks to confirm I have AS. I gained 30 pounds in just two short weeks and now am really struggling to get it off. It has also made my body ache more since I am carrying the extra weight. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do? Thank you for the help!
