Muscle Relaxers? Names Of Please?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I often see that people take these meds but don't know what the names of them are so I can ask the doctors if they would help me sleep without so much pain. If you take them please can you give me the name of the medication you take and if it helps. Thank you. X

I Don't Know Where My Question Went!
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have cervical and lumbar spondylitis, oa, fibromyalgia, and DDD. In 8 years I have lost 4 inches in height. Get Injections, so I can stave off back surgery. Am 60 years old, do PT, and use a walker because I am a fall risk. Am on gabapentin, flexeril, and nabumetone. If people haven't tried the latter, ask your Dr about it. Best nsaid I've ever been on for inflammation. Any thoughts on what else I can do for pain? I'm terrified of back surgery because I've heard such bad things about… read more

Chest Spasms
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Not sure if that’s the right term but I know people have said they get chest pain but I’ve been getting spasms. It’s similar to a foot cramp but in my chest (no heart problems)
I’m without health insurance at the moment so going to the doc is not an option
Thank You

Postoperative Bilateral Lumbar Rfa
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Postoperative rfa two weeks. I'm struggling with a burning, tingling, stabbing, and numbness type pain on the sides of both hips and my lower back under the injection sites. Is this normal
I can't sleep with this--taking Ibuprofen, using ice, heat, tried sports cream and penetrex cream. Even tried taking hydrocodone and that doesn't help either. Nothing really helps with this odd sensation. The skin is sensitive to the touch and can't even tolerate clothing rubbing. Also having back spasms… read more
