I have read many articles that suggest physical therapy as a component of an AS treatment plan.
My doctors have never suggested PT. I was an avid golfer in my past life. When I ask about returning to golf, in the future they do not respond. Granted, that currently I lack the energy and the ability to to retrieve my golf ball from the hole but when ask what my goals are, one is to play golf again.

Hi, has anyone tried softwave therapy for AS? I have been reading about it and it is certainly not a complete solution to autoimmune based arthritis like AS, but it sounds like it can increase blood flow and reduce inflammation for some time. Maybe an alternative to steroid shots in the SI joints which I have tried. Just curious if anyone has tried it? Hope everyone is doing ok!

I’d like to ask if anyone has ever seen a chiropractor for pain associated with AS? I’ve been to one 3 times now. My cervical spine is so stiff & has worsen over the last year & a half. I don’t have the natural curve in my neck, so my neurosurgeon suggested having massages, which has lead to adjustments at my chiropractor. Before I go further with him, should I be allowing him to pop or adjust my neck?? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
