Anyone Tried The New Tylenol/Aleve? I Normally Can't Take Nsaids Because Of Tummy Upset.
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
A MySpondylitisTeam Member

I wish lidocaine worked on me. My go-to is nontransdermal 1:1 CBD:THC cream. Non-transdermal means it does not get into bloodstream to cause a high, just works on muscle/joint tissues for pain relief.

Does Anyone Get Leg Failure Now And Then?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

On occasion (at least once a day) my right leg (usually) stops being "alive". It happened once that both did and I fell. Thankfully, I was in my bedroom when that happened. I always worry that it will happen on stairs or escalator.

This could be stenosis or pinched/irritated nerve roots. I'd see a doc before a real bad fall happens

It’s So Depressing That Every Day I Wake Up In Pain And I Just Wish For Just One Day I Could Be Pain Free
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
A MySpondylitisTeam Member

Every night I hope that I don't wake up the next morning. But every morning the pain wakes me up and I know I'm alive. I will GLADLY run the risk of "addiction" (DSM-V definition) to effect the result… read more

Is Anyone Not Using Pharmaceuticals For Their AS?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I currently am using Tylenol 3 for pain. I cannot take NSAIDS. I do not want to take anything else. I already take 8 pills a day because I had a heart attack in May and really struggle with anxiety. My Rheumatologist has mentioned Biologics. I want to stay away from meds as long as I can. I do struggle with pain, sweats, IBS and so many of the other commons symptoms, but I have to try everything else first.

Chest Pain With Spondylitis?
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have occasional severe chest pain across the middle of my chest. a couple years ago I talked to my primary care physician about it and he had no clue. Chest xray, EKG, etc showed NO CARDIAC PROBLEMS. Next time I see him I'll tell him of chest pain with spondylitis. Good to know! It had scared me.

Pain Control
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Just curious to what my fellow AS’ers do for pain control.
How many of you use marijuana and does it help you? Or pain patches, opioids or anything else.

Thanks-😊

Do You Have Joint Pain As Well As Spondylitis
A MySpondylitisTeam Member asked a question 💭
A MySpondylitisTeam Member

I'm never completely out of pain. I try to get to 4, but haven't in a long time. I made it to 5 a couple weeks ago. I bleed and bruise super easy so Nsaids are not a good idea for me, don't need any… read more
