Thank you very much for taking time to reply. Yes, Hopkins is excellent and I will consult with them as well. Georgetown seems it has a couple surgeons with AS credentials. I will let the community know what I find out. Thanks again.

You are lucky to have so many so close to where you live. I will have to fly, get a hotel nearby, and hope to be released in a timely manner. For whatever it's worth, a senior radiology friend of mine said when it comes to the spine, you want only a Neurosurgeon to perform the surgery because they typically have a full 2 years extra education and training on the nerves. I had a friend several years ago have a reputable orthopedic spine surgeon perform one level fusion on her lumbar. She came out of surgery with permanent nerve damage unable to feel one leg, released to a rehab facility to teach her how to use a walker for the rest of her life. Best of luck to you.🙏
